Trip Itinerary:
We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.
Day 1: Arrival in Zurich (Arrival on the 14th of May)
We will organize a private transfer from Zurich Airport to your hotel. The Storchen is located in the heart of the old town - perfect for your day of arrival to still walk around, stretch out your legs after your flight and get an impression of Switzerland's biggest city.
Depending on your time of arrival and motivation you might be interested to take an excursion to the biggest waterfalls in Europe - the Rhine Falls. Easy accessible by train it is up to you.
Day 2: Zurich → St. Moritz
On your way to the Alps, you will pass the beautiful Lake Walen from where the mighty seven Churfirsten arise. A short boat cruise will bring you to the Seerenbachfalls, the highest waterfalls in Switzerland. It is only a short walk to get closer to this natural spectacle. A small farm restaurant invites to linger around.
If you would like to do some shopping or equip yourselves for your next days in the mountains, you might want to stop by at the Landquart fashion outlet.
Day 3: St. Moritz → Zermatt
Today we will set a first exclamation mark to your travel memories: The famous Glacier Express train ride. Over its entire length, the Glacier Express leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels over the Swiss Alps.
Sit back and relax while the train winds its way through remote valleys, past sheer rock faces, idyllic mountain villages, over the Landwasser Viaduct, and through the Rhine Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Switzerland. A 3-course menu rounds everything up.

Day 4: Zermatt
The car-free town of Zermatt is located at the foot of the Matterhorn. The peak lift takes you up to the 360º viewing platform on Europe’s highest mountain station 'Klein Matterhorn', from where you can see 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers. A must-see is also Zermatt’s glacier paradise.
Day 5: Zermatt → Montreux:
To get the most out of your alpine experience we will add a helicopter ride to your travel itinerary. On this scenic flight, you will enjoy a unique view of the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Dent Blanche, Matterhorn, Theodulpass, Breithorn, Liskamm, Monte Rosa massif, Dufourspitze, Rimpfischhorn, Allalinhorn, Alphubel and Dom.
Continuing your train ride along the Valais (Valley) the language will change from German to French. Arriving at the Montreux Riviera you can enjoy the afternoon on the shores of Lake Geneva. If you are interested a visit to the famous Chillon Castle is always worth it; a boat cruise on Lake Geneva for the best views of the French Alps and the vine terraces of Lavaux (another UNESCO world heritage).
Day 6: Montreux → Grindelwald
Today another magnificent train ride is awaiting you - the Golden Pass. Personally, this is my favorite train line, even though it is comparable short to the Glacier Express. Making its way up the steep mountain ridge you shouldn't miss a single moment! These tracks are also the only way crossing the nature parc of Gruyère - cars have to make a detour for hours to experience what you can do, stressless in one of the baroque wagons of the Golden Pass.
Day 7: Grindewald | Jungfraujoch
Icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand meter peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.
Also, you might want to take a walk on the Männlichen, the small servant of the royal three mountains: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The notorious Eiger North Face was long time considered to be the last alpine challenge. A walk on the Mänlichen will let you dive into the tragic and heroic stories of this wall.
Day 8: Grindelwald → Lucerne
There is no better way to cross the blueish Lake Brienz than by boat. Go on a short walk to explore the beautiful Giessbach Falls.
Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world. Stroll around before you we will invite you on a boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. Winding its way through the mountain scenery it is a perfect way to get some last views of some famous mountains like the Stanserhorn, Mount Rigi and Pilatus.
Day 9: Lucerne → Zurich Airport (departure 22nd of May)
The airport is very well connected from Lucerne which will allow you to maybe get some souvenirs or just enjoy a hot coffee on the shores of the Lake.
We are confident that this itinerary will provide some exclusive memories for you until it is time to say: "Ade, Au revoir, ciao and hope to CYou again in Switzerland"
