Depending on how and when you arrive in Zurich an additional night might make sense so you have the possibility to stroll around in Zurich and get some rest before continuing your journey into the beautiful Engadin.
Day 1 - 4: Zurich to Engadin
The train ride to St. Moritz and the Engadin valley is one of the most picturesque rides in the world and part of it is a UNESCO World heritage.
All cable cars and public transportation will be
included during your stay and we will share our insider tips with you. The Engadin Valley is a true outdoor paradise, with many options for longer or shorter walks, mighty glaciers, (mountain) bike rides, kitesurfing, etc.

Day 4 - 6: Engadin to Fiesch
Heading out of the Engadin goes the same way that you got in. But this time in the stunning Glacier Express. It will take you through scenic mountain passages to Andermatt where you switch onto the local railway to get to Fiesch and alpines biggest Glacier – the Aletsch.
For your day off we highly recommend you to take the cable car up to Eggishorn to get a fully impressive view of the entire glacier. An easy walk up to the Eggishorn rounds everything up.

Day 6 - 8: Fiesch, Evolène to Geneva
Further into the Valais, you will find the calm valley of Evolène, where one of Switzerland's historic hotels is awaiting you. Way off the touristic paths and in the middle of a beautiful pine forest, the Grand Hotel & Kurhaus Arolla is located 2100 meters above sea level.
The building dates from 1896 and is full of history which can be felt and seen throughout the hotel, while at the same time it is a great base to explore the nature around.
