Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
We will organize a private transfer to your hotel for a short rest after your long flight.
Your hotel is situated conveniently close to the famous Bahnhofstrasse in the heart of Zurich's Old Town. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and invite you for a city stroll through Zurich.
Day 2: Zurich → Toggenburg
To start your adventure in Switzerland we would like to take you to an area which we would call "real" Switzerland - the beautiful Toggenburg. Off the beaten tracks for international travelers, it is an absolute hidden gem in the middle of the Alpstein mountains.
Your hotel will be at the foot of the magnificent Churfirsten mountains surrounded by farmers and next by a beautiful alpine lake.
If time permits (early get-up required) we will add a little detour to the Rhine Falls, Europe's biggest waterfall.
Day 3: Toggenburg → Lucerne
It will not be easy to leave the traditional Toggenburg valley behind us, but today it is time to enter the cultural heart of Switzerland. On our way to Lucerne, there are plenty of sights that will especially your children find interesting. The Caves of Baar and the Lindt Home of Chocolate will be included in your tour package.
We will discover Lucerne's old town and go on a boat ride on Lake Lucerne. Your hotel is located directly on the shores of the lake.
Day 4: Lucerne → Interlaken
Sitting on the foot of the mountain Pilatus, Lucerne is often voted as one of the prettiest cities in the world, featuring a colorful old town and 14th-century city walls, as well as covered bridges including the iconic Kapellbrücke with its 17th-century art. Your guide will take you on a city stroll to discover this gem in the heart of Switzerland.
Shortly after we are out of Lucerne we would like to show you something special: The Glasi Hergiswil is the only remaining glasswork in Switzerland where glass is still blown and shaped by hand. Discover how glass is manufactured and watch the glassblowers work with your own eyes.
Just a short ride away the Aare gorge awaits you. It was formed over thousands of years by the Aare Glacier. Discover, feel and experience a natural wonder up close.
2 Nights in Interlaken
Day 5: Interlaken
Your hotel is one of the oldest guest houses in the region. Tradition and history are respected and reinterpreted in a contemporary way with warm hospitality.
Your guide will take you up to the Männlichen peak (short hike). This mountain lies directly on the foot of the notorious Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Your guide will take you on a short hike for a better understanding of what was the Alps' last big climbing challenge and its tragedies.

Day 6: Interlaken → Zermatt
Leaving the majestic mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau behind us the next natural highlight will be just around the corner.
Lake Blue is considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps. Your guide will take you on this short hike before you will make your way to Zermatt. But this will not be an ordinary drive. Have you ever been in a tunnel, on a train, in a van?
The hotel shuttle will pick us up at the gates of Zermatt where we will leave our car behind as this mountain resort is totally car-free, benefitting the alpine flair together with its location of Switzerland's most epic mountain - the Matterhorn.
Day 7: Zermatt → Montreux
To get closer to Switzerland's natural landmark we will include the cable car up to the Glacier Paradise, at Europe's highest cable car station (3883 meters). One of the highlights is certainly the platform with a view over 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps. The glacier paradise is an underground ice sculpture spectacle.
Not close enough to the Matterhorn? You could add a helicopter ride around the Matterhorn to explore the beauty of the Alps in all its diversity.
Lastly, we will leave the mountain resorts behind us to get to Lake Geneva and the Montreux Riviera.
Day 8: Montreux → Geneva
Before leaving Switzerland you will spend the day on the shores of Lake Geneva. Depending on the time of your departure you have the chance to visit the famous Chillon Castle, go on a wine tour in Lavaux (another UNESCO world heritage), and/or your guide will take you on a city walk through the old town of Geneva.
Your guide will say goodbye at the airport and will leave you with lots of unforgettable memories from Switzerland.
