Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
We will organize a private transfer to your hotel for a short rest after your long flight. Your hotel is situated right on the shore of Lake Zurich with only a stone's throw away from the heart of Zurich's Old Town. Enjoy the view!
Your guide will meet you directly at your hotel and invite you for a city stroll through Zurich.

Day 2: Zurich → Lake Constance
You will leave Switzerland's largest city behind you and we will head up north to Europe's biggest waterfall - the Rhine Falls. By boat, you get on the Rock in the middle of the falls to understand the power of this natural spectacle. Shortly after, you get the chance to discover Stein am Rhein, which is well-known for its well-preserved old town with painted facades and half-timbered houses.
For lunch, we will stop in St. Gallen to discover the UNESCO world heritage Abbey district of St. Gallen. Its magnificent Baroque cathedral forms a unique historical ensemble. The Abbey Library - with Switzerland's most beautiful hall and ancient books will fascinate you.

Day 3: Lake Constance → Engadin Valley
Today we are heading to the Alps! We will follow the Rhine valley, where several longer and shorter stops are possible, such as the castle of Vaduz in Liechtenstein, an excursion to Lake Walen with Switzerland's highest waterfall or some shopping at the Landquart Fashion Outlet which can certainly equip you with anything you need for the next days in the mountains.
Through the Vereina tunnel, we will arrive in the Engadin valley.
2 Nights | San Gian | Comfort Double Room
Day 4: Engadin
The Engadin Valley is a true nature and outdoor paradise. St. Moritz was not without reason the birthplace of winter tourism and hosted the Winter Olympics twice. Despite its cosmopolitan atmosphere, it is the culture and tradition of this luxurious Alpine resort that has made it what it is today.
Your guide will take you on a train ride on the Bernina tracks to Alp Grüm. Offering breathtaking views on the surrounding peaks, glaciers and Italy, this UNESCO world heritage doesn't leave any wishes open.
Also, you will have the chance to explore St. Moritz. To round up the day and if the weather permits, we recommend a sledding ride down one of the many slopes or a romantic walk on the frozen lake.
Optional: Why not go Skiing or Snowboarding? The equipment, as well as an instructor, can be organized at short notice.
Day 5: Engadin → Zermatt
Today we will add another highlight to your travel memories: The famous Glacier Express train ride. Over its entire length, the Glacier Express leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels over the Swiss Alps.
On your trip from St Moritz, the train winds its way through remote valleys, past sheer rock faces, idyllic mountain villages, over the Landwasser Viaduct and through the Rhine Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Switzerland.
You can sit back and relax - your guide will take care of your luggage and will pick you up again in Zermatt.

Day 6: Zermatt → Montreux
You will have the chance to discover Zermatt on the foot of Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn.
Optional: Take up the cable car to the Glacier Paradise, at Europe's highest cable car station (3883 meters). One of the highlights is certainly the platform with a view over 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps.
Optional: Not close enough? Jump on a helicopter and discover a unique view of the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Dent Blanche, Matterhorn, Theodulpass, Breithorn, and Gornergrat.
We will leave the mountain resort behind us to get to the Montreux Riviera on the shore of Lake Geneva.

Day 7: Montreux → Grindelwald
From Montreux, we would like to invite you on another spectacular train ride - the Golden pass.
Your guide will pick you up again in Montboven from where it is only a short ride to the medieval town of Gruyère. Home of the famous Gruyère AOP cheese you can visit the official cheese factory and/or one of the many alpine cheese manufacturers and learn how cheese is made in alpine regions for centuries. Preserve some appetite because the Caillier chocolate factory is not far away. Go on an insightful and delicious tour through one of Switzerland's biggest chocolate factories.
2 Nights | Boutique Hotel Glacier | Eiger view Room
Day 8: Jungfrau Region
Ready to face the notorious Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau? Your guide will take you on a day trip explaining more about what was the last alpine challenge, the Eiger Northface, with all its fascination and its unfortunate tragedies. An excursion up to Kleine Scheidegg will be included and a stroll through the neighboring valley Lauterbrunnen.
Optional (not recommended during bad weather): Jungfraujoch - this experience will take your breath away. The view on the Alps' largest glacier - the Aletsch, as well as the surrounding four thousand meter peaks can only be described as stunning. Standing in the snow on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it from your first step: this is a different world.
Optional: Grindelwald is famous for its winter sports as well. Let us know if we can organize a snowshoeing trip or dog sledding.
Day 9: Grindelwald→ Lucerne:
Before arriving in Lucerne we would like to show you something special: The Glasi Hergiswil is the only remaining glasswork in Switzerland where glass is still blown and shaped by hand. Discover how glass is manufactured and watch the glassblowers work with your own eyes. You will have time to explore the city of Lucerne and enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque lake.
Optional: If you would like to add another mountain to your trip, we could explore Mount Titlis.

Day 10: Lucerne → Zurich Airport:
If your time of departure permits we will add a stop at one of Switzerland's most picturesque show caves - the Höll Grotten.
Later on, your guide will bring you back to Zurich Airport on time for your flight where we will leave you with many good memories from this alpine paradise.
