Trip Itinerary:

We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.

Day 1: Arrival in Zurich

We will organize a private transfer from Zurich Airport to your hotel, located in the heart of the city - perfect for your day of arrival to go for a short walk and get an impression of Switzerland's biggest city.

If time allows (depending on your time of arrival), you will leave Switzerland's biggest city behind and head up north to Europe's biggest waterfall - the Rhine falls. By boat, you get on the Rock in the middle of the falls to understand the power of this natural spectacle

Day 2: Zurich to St. Moritz

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the Rhine Valley. But let's start this tour Swiss-like: with chocolate! On your way to the Alps, we will pass the beautiful Lake Walen from where the mighty seven Churfirsten arise and will visit the House of Laederach chocolate factory.

If you would like to do some shopping or equip yourselves for your next days in the mountains, you might want to stop by at the Landquart fashion outlet.

Day 3: St. Moritz to Zermatt

Today we will add another highlight to your travel memories: The famous Glacier Express train ride. Over its entire length, the Glacier Express leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels over the Swiss Alps. Sit back and relax while the train winds its way through remote valleys, past sheer rock faces, idyllic mountain villages, over the Landwasser Viaduct, and through the Rhine Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Switzerland.  A 3-course menu rounds everything up.

For stress-less travel, your guide will take care of your luggage and will meet you again in Zermatt.

Guided Tour

Day 4: Zermatt to Montreux

The car-free town of Zermatt is located at the foot of Switzerland's landmark - the impressive Matterhorn. The peak lift takes you up to the 360º viewing platform on Europe’s highest mountain station 'Klein Matterhorn', from where you can see 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers. A must-see is also Zermatt’s glacier paradise.

Continuing your ride along the Valais (Valley) the language will change from German to French. Arriving at the Montreux Riviera you can enjoy the afternoon on the shores of Lake Geneva. A visit to the medieval Chillon Castle is always worth it or we could organize a degustation tour through the vine terraces of  Lavaux (another UNESCO world heritage).

Day 5: Montreux to Lucerne (via Bernese Oberland)

Today another magnificent train ride is awaiting you - the Golden Pass. Personally, this is my favorite train line, even though it is short compared to the Glacier Express. Making its way up the steep mountain ridge you shouldn't miss a single moment! These tracks are also the only way crossing the nature parc of Gruyère - cars have to make a detour for hours to experience what you can do, stressless in one of the baroque wagons of the Golden Pass.

Your guide will pick you up on the other side of the national park and accompany you to the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. To explore these mountains a little closer your guide will take you on a short hike from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg.

Day 6: Lucerne to Zurich Airport

Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world. Visit the medieval Chapel Bridge - one of the oldest, covered wooden bridges in Europe, do some souvenir shopping or just have a coffee on the shores of Lake Lucerne before it's time to leave for the airport in Zurich.

It is only a short ride until your driver-guide will leave you at the airport with tonnes of unforgettable memories.
