Day 1: Arrival in Zurich to Interlaken
The mountains are calling! But first, we would suggest stopping in Switzerland’s capital to stroll around in Bern's cute Old-Town which is a UNESCO world heritage site; and are you aware that the bear is not only the symbol of the canton? Bears live in the city center in a pit right on the other riverside of the old tow
Day 2: Jungfraujoch
This day is reserved to explore the Jungfraujoch: Icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand meter peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.
Day 3: Interlaken to Lucerne
Today your journey takes you from Interlaken along the blue lake of Brienz towards Lucerne. On the way, we recommend to stop at the Swiss outdoor museum Ballenberg. More than one hundred century-old buildings from all over Switzerland, 250 farmyard animals ranging from rabbits to oxen, traditional, old-time gardens and various handicraft workshops await you.
Day 4: Lucerne
Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world. Stroll around before you we will invite you on a boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. Those who are interested in the history of Switzerland might want to hop off and hike part of the Switzerland trail or visit the meadow where the legendary oath of Rüttli was taken and therefore a confederation of the first three cantons was formed.
Also a visit of the Forum Schwyz, a museum about Swiss history is a great excursion.
Day 5: Lucerne:
As a final highlight, the oldest cogwheel train of Switzerland up to the top of Mount Rigi, the queen of all mountains, is included in your travel arrangement. Enjoy once more the scenery of the Alps and the views on Lake Lucerne.
For your little one: The Verkehrshaus: The Swiss Museum of Transport takes a fascinating, interactive look at the development of transport and mobility on road, rail and water, not forgetting air and space travel. On display are more than 3,000 objects, simulators, multimedia shows and interactive exhibits occupying an area some 20,000 m2 in size. A fun excursion for every age!
Day 6: Lucerne to Zurich Airport:
The airport is very well connected from Lucerne which will allow you to maybe get some souvenirs or just enjoy a hot coffee on the shores of the Lake. You could also stop by in Zurich to discover a little their cute Old-Town
