Day 1: Arrival in Paris → Zermatt
Train organized by you to Zermatt.
Day 2: Zermatt
You will have the chance to discover Zermatt on the foot of Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn. Surrounded by no fewer than 29 peaks above 4,000 meters, such as the majestic Matterhorn and the Dufourspitze as well as the third-longest glacier of the Alps, Gornergrat rewards visitors with unparalleled views.
Also, take up the cable car to the Glacier Paradise, Europe's highest cable car station (3883 meters). One of the highlights is certainly the platform with a view over 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps.
Day 3: Zermatt → Grindelwald
Today you will head from the canton of Valais to the Bernese Oberland. Your train journey continues through the 14km long railway Loetschberg tunnel towards Spiez, Interlaken and then Grindelwald.
After check-in, you can just simply enjoy the majestic view on the Eiger North Face or take the train into the neighboring valley of Lauterbrunnen. In 1911, the 19-year-old J.R.R. Tolkien hikes through the Swiss Alps – and of course through the Lauterbrunnen Valley with its steep rockfaces and waterfalls. Hardly anyone knows that he found his inspiration for the landscape in «Lord of the Rings» here.

Day 4: Grindelwald
This day is reserved to explore the Jungfraujoch: Icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand meter peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.
Included: First Adventure Package: (2 Activities) Whiz through the air with the First Flyer or First Glider at over 80 km/h to Schreckfeld. After the flight in the securely constructed harness, pick yourself up again and hop onto the fun sport vehicle, First Mountain Cart. Thunder along the rough track from Schreckfeld to Bort. The Trottibike will be there waiting. Then use this to race from Bort to Grindelwald. With the Adventure Package, you can experience up to four rides and unlimited rides on the gondola lift.
Day 5: Grindelwald → Lucerne:
Pick up rental car in Interlaken - Thrill-seekers will certainly find what they’re looking for here in the Haslital valley, on the Bernese side of the Grimsel Pass. With a maximum gradient of 106%, this single-carriage funicular is undisputedly the steepest in Europe.
Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world. Stroll around and enjoy this pearl on the shores of the Lake.
Day 6: Lucerne (Titlis):
You'll make your way to Mount Titlis. At 3,062 metres, the summit offers not only a breathtaking 360° panorama of the wide Engelberg valley but also a view straight down into the abyss, with countless crevasses carved into the glacial ice.
Day 7: Lucerne to Zurich + Excursion to Rhine Falls
Continue your Swiss experience with a natural spectacle: about an hour north lies the biggest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Go on a quick boat trip to explore the true power of this impressive water drop.
Drop off your rental car in Zurich.
Your hotel is located conveniently close to the famous Bahnhofstrasse (shopping district) in the heart of Zurich's Old Town. A great way to discover Zurich and to learn a little more about ist history are the Free Walking Tours.
The twin towers of the Grossmünster are not only Zurich's prominent landmark, visitors can also climb up the Karlsturm and enjoy a breathtaking view over the city.
Day 8: Zurich to St. Moritz
Just around the corner of Lake Zurich lies the chocolate factory of Lindt. We would implement a short tour where at the end you can create your own chocolate bar!
Before arriving in the Engadin valley you have to stop in Landquart: If you would like to do some shopping or equip yourselves for your next days in the mountains, you might want to check out the Landquart fashion outlet.
OR
As the next stop on your journey, you could also explore Chur. With a settlement history of over 5000 years, Chur is the oldest city in Switzerland and the picturesque old town is considered one of the most fully preserved in the country. Especially worth seeing are the episcopal palace, the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption, and the superbly preserved buildings in the old town
Take the train on the Glacier Express trains: Get the best part of the Glacier Express tracks on the Albula Line: From Thusis, the RhB climbs through helical tunnels and over viaducts up the Albula Valley towards St.Moritz. This line, embedded harmoniously in the landscape, is a showpiece dating back to the time of railway pioneering and is part of the RhB UNESCO World Heritage.
Day 9: St. Moritz to Lugano:
The Bernina line between St.Moritz, Valposchiavo and Tirano connects the north and south of Europe. It travels past mountains, beside lakes and glaciers on its way down to the palm trees in Valtellina. The famous panoramic route belongs to the RhB UNESCO World Heritage - a brand name.
We'd organize the transfer from Tirano to Lugano as your travel will continue to Milano (to get to Rome, Venzia or Florence) as from Lugano trains depart regulary towards Milano.
