Trip Itinerary:
We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.
Day 1: Arrival in Zurich:
Your hotel is located conveniently close to the famous Bahnhofstrasse in the heart of Zurich's Old Town. A great way to discover Zurich and to learn a little more about its history are the Free Walking Tours.
Zurich's house mountain the Uetliberg is always worth a visit, as well as the numerous museums in and around the city. I'll provide you with my personal recommendations if you would like to.
Day 2: Rhine Falls & St. Gallen
You will leave Switzerland's largest city behind for the day and you will head up north to Europe's biggest waterfall - the Rhine Falls. By boat, you get on the Rock in the middle of the falls to understand the power of this natural spectacle. On the other side of the falls lies Castle Laufen.
Shortly after, you get the chance to discover Stein am Rhein, which is well-known for its well-preserved old town with painted facades and half-timbered houses. Around noon you can stop in St. Gallen to discover the UNESCO world heritage Abbey district of St. Gallen. Its magnificent Baroque cathedral forms a unique historical ensemble. The Abbey Library - with Switzerland's most beautiful hall and ancient books will fascinate you.
*possible with private driver-guide

Day 3: Jungfraujoch:
To make it a real round trip we would recommend you to take the train via Bern, Switzerland's capital. It is a great stop to stretch out your legs and although part of the UNESCO world heritage, is still underrated by travelers.
Arriving at Jungfraujoch you will feel icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand meter peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.
*possible with private driver-guide
Day 4: Lake Walen
Just around the corner of the Glarner Alps lies the beautiful Lake Walen from where the mighty seven Churfirsten arise. A short boat cruise will bring you to the Seerenbachfalls, the highest waterfalls in Switzerland. It is only a short walk to get closer to this natural spectacle. A small farm restaurant invites to linger around.
For the afternoon I would like to invite you to visit one of the alpine cheeseries, which still manufacture this Swiss delicacy in the old traditional way.
*possible with private driver-guide
Day 5: Zurich
Before it is time to say goodbye you may want to explore the city a little more: The twin towers of the Grossmünster are not only Zurich's prominent landmark, visitors can also climb up the Karlsturm and enjoy a breathtaking view over the city.
The airport is very well connected to the city center which will allow you to maybe get some souvenirs or just enjoy a hot coffee on the shores of the Lake.
I am confident that this itinerary will provide some exclusive memories for you until it is time to say: "Ade, Au revoir, ciao and hope to CYou again in Switzerland"
