Trip Itinerary:
We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.
Day 1: Arrival Zurich:
We will organize a private transfer from Zurich Airport to your hotel, located in the heart of the city, close to the famous Bahnhofstrasse (shopping district) and Zurich's Old Town - perfect for your day of arrival to go spontaneously for a short walk and get an impression of Switzerland's biggest city.
With your early arrival you may want to take the train up north - only about an hour away the biggest waterfalls of Europe, the Rhine Falls, are located. Get on a boat to get on the rock in the middle of the falls for the best view.
Day 2: Zurich → Engadin Valley
Let's not waste any more time on the concrete jungle of Zurich (overdramatized; Zurich has a cute little Old-Town and lots of museums). Just around the corner of Zurich in the Glarner Alps lies the beautiful Lake Walen from where the mighty seven Churfirsten arise. A short boat cruise could bring you to the Seerenbachfalls, the highest waterfalls in Switzerland. It is only a short walk to get closer to this natural spectacle. A small farm restaurant invites to linger around.
Before arriving in the Engadin valley you have to stop in Landquart: If you would like to do some shopping or equip yourselves for your next days in the mountains, you might want to check out the Landquart fashion outlet.
Day 3: Engadin Valley
The Engadin Valley is a true nature and outdoor paradise. St. Moritz was not without reason the birthplace of winter tourism and hosted the Winter Olympics twice. Despite its cosmopolitan atmosphere, it is the culture and tradition of this luxurious Alpine resort that has made it what it is today.
Go on a train ride on the Bernina tracks to Alp Grüm or even to Tirano in Italy. Offering breathtaking views on the surrounding peaks and glaciers this UNESCO world heritage doesn't leave any wishes open. For cheese lovers: Have a break at the alpine cheesery Morteratsch and follow every step of making this swiss delicacy with your own eyes
In the afternoon we will invite you on to a carriage ride into the beautiful Val Fex. Enjoy the fantastic restaurant out there for an Apero (the Swiss cocktail hour) before the carriage will pick you up again.

Day 4: Engadin → Zermatt
Today we will add another highlight to your travel memories: The famous Glacier Express train ride (8 hours). Over its entire length, the Glacier Express leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels over the Swiss Alps. You can sit back and relax while your driver guide will take care of your luggage.
On your trip from St Moritz, the train winds its way through remote valleys, past sheer rock faces, idyllic mountain villages, over the Landwasser Viaduct, and through the Rhine Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Switzerland.
Excellence Class (if available): Along the way you will be served a refined regional 7-course menu with accompanying wines. For an aperitif, some delicious cocktail or to exchange with fellow travelers the Glacier Bar is the perfect place to visit. Thanks to the compass on the ceiling none of the many turns will be missed.
Day 5: Zermatt → Montreux
Your hotel, the Riffelhaus 1853, is perched peacefully on the side of the Riffelberg mountain at 2,548 metres. Its famous neighbor, the Matterhorn greets restaurant visitors and hotel guests alike which have included famous mountaineers and European royalty.
Continuing your ride along the Valais (Valley) the language will change from German to French. Arriving at the Montreux Riviera you can enjoy the afternoon on the shores of Lake Geneva. A visit to the medieval Chillon Castle is always worth it.
With an early arrival, your driver guide would gladly invite you on a city tour of Geneva.
Day 6: Montreux → Grindelwald
Explore the vine terraces of Lavaux (another UNESCO world heritage) and go on a guided walk which ends up with a degustation of our local wines. There is a reason why Switzerland does not export that much of its own wine - we like to enjoy it ourselves!
After your wine tour another magnificent train ride is awaiting you - the Golden Pass. Personally, this is my favorite train line, even though it is short compared to the Glacier Express. Making its way up the steep mountain ridge you shouldn't miss a single moment! These tracks are also the only way crossing the nature parc of Gruyère - cars have to make a detour for hours to experience what you can do, stressless in one of the baroque wagons of the Golden Pass. Your driver guide will pick you up on the other side of the Gruyère National Park.
Day 7: Grindelwald
This day is reserved to explore the Jungfrau region which has a lot to offer. Head up the famous Jungfraujoch, or one of the many other mountains offering fantastic panoramas, visit the valley of the 72 waterfalls and enjoy one of the many hiking trails in the area.
You might want to take a walk on the Männlichen, the small servant of the royal three mountains: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The notorious Eiger North Face was long time considered to be the last alpine challenge. A walk on the Mänlichen will let you dive into the tragic and heroic stories of this wall. Whatever you may choose, your driver guide will gladly assist you and accompany you.
Optional: Paragliding (CHF 170 p.P.)
Day 8: Grindelwald → Lucerne
Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world. Stroll around before you we will invite you on a sunset boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. Experience the natural spectacle of a radiant sunset over the towering peaks of Central Switzerland. Let the tranquility of the lake and the majesty of the mountains do their bit, while the stately steamboat or the vessel "MS Diamant" gently glides over the waves. The catering crew will be delighted to serve you a selection of popular drinks or invite you for a refined dinner.
Day 9: Lucerne - Titlis:
Experience a mind-blowing day in the Snow at Mount Titlis at 3'020 meters above sealevel. Up at the peak there is only one season: Winter. Of all the highlights in Central Switzerland, TITLIS is the big one - and the only glacier in the entire region that is actually accessible. So come and enjoy the breathtaking panorama of snow-capped mountaintops and untouched Alpine landscapes.
Day 10: Lucerne → Zurich Airport
Do some souvenir shopping or just have a coffee on the shores of Lake Lucerne before it's time to leave for the airport in Zurich. It is only a short ride until your driver guide will leave you at the airport with tonnes of unforgettable memories.
We are confident that this itinerary will provide some exclusive memories for you and your family until it is time to say: "Ade, Au revoir, ciao and hope to CYou again in Switzerland"
