Swiss Bier Museum

Fondation Blancpain pour le Maintien des Traditions de la Brasserie.

At the heart of the Brewery

The Museum has much more than a brewery collection within its walls, it is the witness of an enormous emotional heritage, that of a unique link between Fribourg and its first real industry, the Cardinal brewery.

Who would have bet that this small brewery built at the Auberge du Saumon on the banks of the Sarine in 1788 would have known such a destiny?
