Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
Your rental car can be picked up directly at the airport.
Your hotel is situated right on the shore of Lake Zurich only a stone's throw away from the heart of Zurich's Old Town.
Enjoy the view and go on a small city stroll through Zurich.
2 Nights | Ameron Hotel | Premium Room
Day 2: Zurich, Rhine Falls & St. Gallen
Leave your luggage in the hotel and benefit from the flexibility of your rental car to head up north to Europe's biggest waterfall - the Rhine Falls. By boat, you get on the Rock in the middle of the falls to understand the power of this natural spectacle.
St. Gallen is very well connected to the Rhinefall and Zurich and is therefore a great sight to explore in the afternoon. The UNESCO world heritage, the Abbey district of St. Gallen, with its magnificent Baroque cathedral forms a unique historical ensemble. The Abbey Library - with Switzerland's most beautiful hall and ancient books will fascinate you.
Return to Zurich to enjoy your evening.
Day 3: Zurich → Montreux
To explore entire Switzerland you start with a driving day to western Switzerland and arrive in Montreux. But not just an ordinary drive - you will have many opportunities to stop by.
Aargau: The cultural heart of Northern Switzerland. With its many museums, castles and Roman history, it is always worth implementing longer and shorter pauses here.
Bern: The bear is not only the symbol of Switzerland's capital, bears actually live in the heart of the city. Stroll around in Bern's old town which is part of the UNESCO world heritage and visit the bear pit.
Gruyère: Save some appetite for what is coming next. First of all this medieval town is home to the world-famous Gruyère AOP cheese. Visit one of the many cheeseries to get more insight. Also the chocolate museum of Caillier is just around the corner. Go on a delicious tour end explore more about the secrets of Swiss chocolate.

Day 4: Montreux → Zermatt
If you haven't found the time to walk along the shores of Geneva, you might want to start the day with this before heading deep into the alps and the mountain resorts. Visit the famous Chateau de Chillon or the statue of Freddy Mercury.
One castle is not enough? On your way along the Valais you will pass Sion with its beautiful castles rising up above the city.
Optional: Another possibility to stretch out your legs can be the beautiful underground lake of St. Leonard
2 Nights | Sunstar Zermatt | Double Room with Matterhorn view
Day 5: Zermatt
You will have the chance to discover Zermatt on the foot of Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn.
Optional: Take up the cable car to the Glacier Paradise, at Europe's highest cable car station (3883 meters). One of the highlights is certainly the platform with a view over 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps.
Optional: Not close enough? Jump on a helicopter and discover a unique view of the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Dent Blanche, Matterhorn, Theodulpass, Breithorn, and Gornergrat.
Optional: Would you like to escape everything and spend a night in a romantic Igloo? An unforgettable night in the Igloo-village of Zermatt includes more than just sleeping in an igloo. Your experience consists of a cheese fondue, a guided snowshoe trek under the starry sky, time to enjoy the whirlpool and breakfast in the mountain restaurant.
Day 6: Zermatt → Grindelwald
Through the Lötschberg tunnel, the train takes you through beautiful Kander valley. If weather permits you might want to explore Lake Oeschinen or Lake Blue (if they are not frozen).
Enjoy the atmosphere of Switzerlands adventure capital Interlaken before heading to Grindelwald on the foot of the Eiger mountain. Even if you are not into adventurous sports, the flair between the mountains and the two big lakes in the Bernese Oberland will catch you.
2 Nights | Beautique Hotel Glacier | Eiger View Room
Day 7: Jungfrau Region
Ready to face the notorious Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau? Take the train to Grindelwald and up the cable car to Kleine Scheidegg for the best view to admire the royal three. With your car you can also go on a short ride to visit the neighboring Lauterbrunnen valley with its many waterfalls.
Optional (not recommended during bad weather): Jungfraujoch - this experience will take your breath away. The view on the Alps' largest glacier - the Aletsch, as well as the surrounding four thousand meter peaks can only be described as stunning. Standing in the snow on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it from your first step: this is a different world.
Optional: Grindelwald is famous for its winter sports as well. Let us know if we can organize a snowshoeing trip or dog sledding.
Day 8: Grindelwald→ Lucerne:
Before arriving in Lucerne we would like to show you something special: The Glasi Hergiswil is the only remaining glasswork in Switzerland where glass is still blown and shaped by hand. Discover how glass is manufactured and watch the glassblowers work with your own eyes. You will have time to explore the city of Lucerne and enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque lake.
2 Nights | Beau Séjour Lucerne | Historic Deluxe Double Room
Day 9: Lucerne:
Benefit from a full day in Lucerne and the surrounding area. We will provide you with any information to fill your day. Mt. Pilatus, Mt. Rigi or the famous Mount Titlis are all within driving distance for a last mountain and probably snow experience.
Also, the cantons around Lake Lucerne are the historical heart of Switzerland. Learn more about Switzerland in one of the museums here. We will share our recommendations with you.
Day 10: Lucerne → Zurich Airport:
If your time of departure permits we will add a stop at one of Switzerland's most picturesque show caves - the Höll Grotten.
We will leave you with many good memories from this alpine paradise.
