Day 1: Arrival
Your rental car can be picked up directly at the airport.

Day 2 + 3: Geneva → Annecy
Only a short ride away from Geneva you will find the picturesque lake of Annecy. Stroll through the Old Town of the namesake town, enjoy a fresh sandwich with melted cheese and linger around the beautiful green-blueish Lake. Multiple, very well-maintained hiking paths invite you to escape the beaten tracks.
Our Tip: Annecy is known worldwide for its magnificent paragliding. If you ever thought about doing it, do it here! No matter of age and fitness, this adventure on a tandem flight is for everyone. Also, prices are cheaper than in Switzerland.

Day 4 + 5: Annecy → Zermatt
Via Chamonix, you will reenter Switzerland and the canton Valais. The drive is a highlight in itself and offers many possibilities to stop by and take some memorable pictures. Especially Chamonix which lies on the foot of Europes highest mountain, the Mont Blanc.
But nothing is comparable to Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn. We will provide you with many suggestions to explore Zermatt and the surrounding mountains a little closer.
Optional: Take the cable car up to the Glacier Paradise - Europes highest cable car station right next to the stunning Matterhorn (very weather dependent at this time of the year).

Day 6: Zermatt → Bettmeralp
One of the hidden gems at this time of the year: This small alpine town lies on the foot of the Bettmerhorn, part of the Aletsch Arena. Aletsch, the largest glacier of the Alps can be best admired from this side of the valley. We will include the Aletsch Explorer Pass which gives you the best way to explore the entire region and share our recommendation for some scenic views. On clear days the peaks Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, as well as the famous Matterhorn, can be seen.

Day 7: Bettmeralp → Lucerne:
Over several mountain passes and along the Rhône glacier you will get to Andermatt. Take your time and enjoy this phenomenal ride. In the Schöllenengorge we would like to share another hidden gem before the valley opens again for Lake Lucerne.
Your hotel lies conveniently close to the city and the lake so you can walk around and enjoy the old town of Lucerne. Every year it is rated one of the prettiest cities in the world.

Day 8 - 11: Grindelwald
You expressed a wish of staying longer in Grindelwald. Here you go! Grindelwald, the neighbouring valleys of Lauterbrunnen Kander as well the beautiful mountains lakes of Thun and Brienz offer many possibilities to explore. Besides the big touristic spots, e.g. the First Cliff Walk or Lake Oeschinen, we will share our recommendations for some scenic and memorable moments.
Optional: Jungfraujoch (weather dependant)
This experience will take your breath away. The view on the Alps' largest glacier - the Aletsch, as well as the surrounding four thousand meter peaks can only be described as stunning. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it from your first step: this is a different world.

Day 12: Grindelwald → Gruyère
No Switzerland trip is complete without tasting some cheese and chocolate. In Gruyère you get both. Taste the original AOP Gruyère cheese or visit the famous Caillier chocolate museum.
Would you like to add another mountain to your list? Around Gruyère lies one of our favorites because of its scenic view and easy access.

Day 13: Gruyère to Geneva
It is time to slowly get back to Geneva. But not too fast - around lake Geneva many sights won't be missed. Linger along the shores of Montreux or discover the picturesque Castle of Chillon.
Our tip: Get in the underground and discover the most beautiful show cave in Switzerland - the Caves of Vallorbe.

Day 14: Departure from Geneva
Your rental car can be dropped off directly at the airport.
We say goodbye, "au revoir" or "auf Wiedersehen" and leave you with many unforgettable moments from Switzerland.
