Day 1: Zurich to Gstaad

Your guide will pick you up at Zurich Airport from where you'll begin your journey west into the french speaking part of Switzerland.

If you'd like well stop by in our capital Bern which is not to be underestimated. It is not just the seat of our parliament, it is also a UNESCO heritage - did you know, that the bear is not only the symbol of Bern? Bears live in the city!

Free time in Gstaad.

Let's start this trip Swiss-like. In the late afternoon/evening, your guide will invite you for an outdoor fondue experience

Day 2: Gstaad: Day Excursion to Montreux

Today a magnificent train ride is awaiting you - the Golden Pass. Personally, this is my favorite train line, even though it is short compared to the Glacier Express. Making its way up the steep mountain ridge you shouldn't miss a single moment! These tracks are also the only way crossing the nature parc of Gruyère - cars have to make a detour for hours to experience what you can do, stressless in one of the baroque wagons of the Golden Pass.

Arriving at the Montreux Riviera you can enjoy the afternoon on the shores of Lake Geneva. A visit to the medieval Chillon Castle is always worth it!

Guided Tour

Day 3: Gstaad to Wengen:

A scenic drive takes us deeper into the Bernese Oberland. Time to discover a little of the underground: The St. Beatus Caves are certainly one of the most beautiful show caves! Later we will pass the blue-colored Lake Brienz before arriving in Lucerne. Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world.

Before making our way to Wengen we'll stop by in Lauterbrunnen and if possible hike behind the stunning Stauberach Waterfalls.

Day 4: Wengen:

This day is reserved to explore the Jungfraujoch: Icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand meter peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.

Day 5: Wengen:

With hundreds of shorter walks and hikes around it's easy to find the right one for you. Your guide will take you on a short walk for an outdoor fondue experience!

Something more adventurous?

Paragliding: + CHF 200 per Person

Aletsch Glacier Hike: + CHF 395 per Person

Canyoning: + from CHF 125 to 180 per Person

Via Ferrata: + CHF 150 per Person

Day 6: Wengen to Lake Lucerne

We'll start with a beautiful drive along Lake Brienz. Potential stops at Iseltwald or the short walk up to the Giessbachfalls will be our entertainment program for the morning.

We will also visit the beautiful Aare gorge: In Haslital Meiringen the Aare River has cut a gorge in the limestone that is 200 meters deep in some places. Thanks to the walkways and tunnels, it is easy to hike through the entire gorge.

Day 7: Lake Lucerne:

The Vitznauerhof is a true gem within already Switzerland's high-standard hotels! Located directly on the shores of the Lake with phenomenal views, a little away from the touristic crowds, but nevertheless, perfectly connected via boat to discover Lucerne itself.

Jeroen Achtien has been Executive Chef of the Hotel Vitznauerhof and the Restaurant Sens. In February 2021, he and his team were awarded with two stars Michelin. Let us know if we should reserve a table.

Day 8: Lucerne to Zurich Airport:

The airport is very well connected from Lucerne which will allow you to maybe get some souvenirs or just enjoy a hot coffee on the shores of the Lake.

We are confident that this itinerary will provide some exclusive memories for you and your family until it is time to say: "Ade, Au revoir, ciao and hope to CYou again in Switzerland"
