WALKS AND HIKES

The Canton of Zug has so many signposted, well-maintained routes for you to walk—a total of 556 km, in fact. 97% of them are hiking trails with a soft or hard surface, and just under 3% are mountain hiking trails. One of the mountain trails will take you to the highest point in the Canton of Zug, the Wildspitz, which is a summit on the 1,579-metre-high Rossberg.

Alternatively, you could take a leisurely walk from Hünenberg to Mühlau to see the Reussspitz (a fork in the River Reuss), where you will find the lowest point in the canton, at 388 metres above sea level. Let your wanderlust take over and discover the Canton of Zug on foot.
