Day 1: Geneva
Your guide will welcome you at the airport, accompany you to your hotel, and will take you on a private city tour to Geneva's must-see spots.
Day 2: Geneva to Gruyère
To start your trip through beautiful Switzerland we will have our first stop in Montreux. The Montreux Riviera with its Mediterranean flair, Chaplin’s World, or the historic Chillon water castle are just some of the many superb activities that are waiting for you here. This will be followed by the scenic Golden Pass rail journey. The medieval town of Gruyère will be our home for tonight.
Day 3: Gruyère to Interlaken
To start the day you can either visit the Gruyère castle, enjoy an insightful (and delicious) tour of the Cailler chocolate factory, or visit a cheese factory.
Before heading to the famous Interlaken region, we will stop for lunch in Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Bern is a friendly city with many museums, shops and its old town with UNESCO World Heritage status. Did you know that the bear is not only the symbol of the capital but bears actually live in the city?
Day 4: Interlaken
Today is reserved for the beautiful Jungfrau region which boasts a plethora of activities and spectacular views of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. You can enjoy over 500km of hiking trails, visit Interlaken, the famous Kander valley with the crystal blue Blausee and Oeschinensee, or the Lauterbrunnen valley with its many waterfalls. Your guide will be happy to help you fill this day with many adventures based on your preferences.
Day 5: Interlaken to Lucerne
We leave the mountain resorts behind us and will drive to Lucerne. You will have time to explore the city of Lucerne before enjoying a boat ride on the picturesque lake that will take you to your hotel on the lakeshore at the foot of the famous Mount Rigi.
Day 6: Lucerne
You will have the whole day in this beautiful setting. You can either go up the Rigi – The Queen of the Mountains – by taking the very first mountain railway that existed in Europe, or explore any of the other mountains, hikes or just relax on the inviting lakeside terrace of the hotel.
Day 7: Lucerne to Zurich
If your time of departure permits we will stop at one of Switzerland's most picturesque caves - the Höll Grotten. If not, we will head straight to Zurich to have enough time for a city stroll.
In the end, it is time to say goodbye to your guide at Zurich Airport.
