Who is allowed to enter Switzerland?

When entering from inside the Schengen-Area

Are you holding a Swiss or EU passport or Schengen Visa - then this category is for you. Even if you are currently living abroad.

The normal entry requirements apply to any persons entering Switzerland directly from these Schengen-States

When entering from outside the Schengen-Area

The normal entry requirements apply only to some countries. You can find the list here.

All other countries are still considered high-risk and are on the list of high-risk countries and regions in the COVID-19 Ordinance 3. Entry restrictions continue to apply to persons entering Switzerland from these countries.
 

In short: 
For tourism purposes, you are only allowed to enter Switzerland when travelling from one of the countries mentioned in the list. For all other purposes please check the requirements on the SSM-website.
