Trip Itinerary:

We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.

Day 1: Arrival in Zurich

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and invite you for a city stroll through Zurich and its beautiful old town.

Motel One is a design hotel in a listed building in the center of Zurich. The famous shopping street "Bahnhofstrasse" and the old town of Zurich are only in short walking distance.

Day 2: Zurich → Engadin

You will leave Switzerland's biggest city behind you and head up north to Europes biggest waterfall - the Rhine falls.

For lunch, we will stop in St. Gallen to discover the UNESCO world heritage, the Abbey district of St. Gallen. Its magnificent Baroque cathedral forms a unique historical ensemble. The Abbey Library - with Switzerland's most beautiful hall and ancient books will fascinate you.

With no more time to spend your guide will bring you safely to your hotel in the Engadin.

Guided Tour

Day 4: Engadin → Zermatt

Following the same way back out of the Engadin we will the Rhine gorge and make our way west to Zermatt. On our way, we will have the chance to stretch out our legs multiple times on short hikes and viewpoints from mountain passes. This ride is absolutely spectacular.

Optional: Glacier Express | CHF 125 per Person
Would you like to add something special? Over its entire length, the Glacier Express leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels over the Swiss Alps. On your trip from St Moritz, the train winds its way through remote valleys, past sheer rock faces, idyllic mountain villages, over the Landwasser Viaduct and through the Rhine Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Switzerland.

Day 5: Zermatt → Montreux

You will have the chance to discover Zermatt on the foot of Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn.

Optional: Not close enough? Take up the cable car to the Glacier Paradise, at Europe's highest cable car station (3883 meters). One of the highlights is certainly the platform with a view over 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps.

Lastly, we will leave the mountain resorts behind us to get to Lake Geneva and the Montreux Riviera at the shore of Lake Geneva.

Day 6: Montreux → Neuchâtel

Starting with a short walk along the shores of Lake Geneva we will make our way into the Jura mountains, one of the more remote areas in Switzerland.

The caves of Vallorbe are not that well known but an unparalleled natural sight in the heart of the Jura mountains. Walk through caves with subterranean rivers, waterfalls, vast halls with spectacular rock formations.

With a little detour, you will arrive at the baroque city of Neuchâtel.

Day 7: Neuchâtel → Interlaken

With small stops in the medieval towns of Murren and Gruyère we will head to the chocolate museum of Cailler. Enjoy an insightful (and delicious) tour of the Cailler chocolate factory.

Before we make our way to the famous Interlaken region, we will have a beautiful ride through the Simmertal and will pass Gstaad. This valley is well known for its cheese manufacturers and will have the opportunity to watch how cheese has been manufactured in the alpine regions for decades.

Day 8: Interlaken

Today is reserved for the beautiful Jungfrau region which boasts a plethora of activities and spectacular views of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

To explore these mountains a little closer your guide will take you on a round trip from Männlichen to kleine Scheidegg. The train ride and cable car are included in your travel package.

Day 9: Interlaken → Lucerne

We leave the mountain resorts behind us and will drive to Lucerne. You will have time to explore the city of Lucerne before enjoying a boat ride on the picturesque lake that will take you to your hotel on the lakeshore at the foot of the famous Mount Rigi.

Day 10: Lucerne → Zurich

If your time of departure permits we will stop for a last surprise.

If not, we will head straight to Zurich. In the end, it is time to say goodbye to your guide at Zurich Airport.
