Trip Itinerary:
We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.
Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
Your guide will meet you at your hotel and invite you for a city stroll through Zurich and its beautiful old town.
Motel One is a design hotel in a listed building in the center of Zurich. The famous shopping street "Bahnhofstrasse" and the old town of Zurich are only in short walking distance.
Day 2: Zurich → Toggenburg
You will leave Switzerland's biggest city behind you and head up north to Europe's biggest waterfall - the Rhine Falls. By boat, you get on the Rock in the middle of the falls to understand the power of this natural spectacle.
For lunch, we will stop in St. Gallen to discover the UNESCO world heritage Abbey district of St. Gallen. Its magnificent Baroque cathedral forms a unique historical ensemble. The Abbey Library - with Switzerland's most beautiful hall and ancient books will fascinate you.
To round up the day we take you to an area which we would call "real" Switzerland - the beautiful Toggenburg. Off the beaten tracks for international travelers, it is an absolute hidden gem in the middle of the Alpstein mountains.
Day 3: Toggenburg → Engadin
You will not want to leave the lovely Toggenburg, but the train ride to St. Moritz and the Engadin valley will make that up. It is one of the most picturesque rides in the world and part of it is a UNESCO World heritage. Before we will follow the Rhine valley, where several longer and shorter stops are possible, such as the castle of Vaduz in Liechtenstein and/or an excursion to Lake Walen with Switzerland's highest waterfall.
Day 4: Engadin
The Engadin Valley is a true nature and outdoor paradise. St. Moritz was not without reason the birthplace for winter tourism and hosted the Winter Olympics twice. Despite its cosmopolitan atmosphere, it is the culture and tradition of this luxurious Alpine resort that has made it what it is today. Your guide will take you on a train ride on the Bernina line until Alp Grüm, offering breathtaking views on the surrounding peaks, glaciers and Italy. To round up the day your guide will take you on a short hike, depending on your preferred theme (glaciers, legends, or other).

Day 5: Engadin → Aletsch
Leaving Switzerland for a short time this ride will lead you through narrow valleys and along the beautiful Lake Como to reenter Switzerland again at Lake Lugano and its same-named city. Switzerland's most southern and Italian-speaking canton is a lot different than the rest of Switzerland, as the architecture, as well as the style of living, will show. Early afternoon we will arrive in Fiesch and alpines biggest Glacier – the Aletsch. Your guide will take you up to nearly 3000m to admire this icy giant.
Day 6: Fiesch → Zermatt
Is there anything to say about Zermatt? On the foot of Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn - this
traditional and car-free town* is base for a large
a number of short walks or long hikes, mountaineering expeditions, and more.
Day 7: Zermatt → Montreux
You will have the chance to discover Zermatt on the foot of Switzerland's natural landmark - the Matterhorn.
Optional: Not close enough? Take up the cable car to the Glacier Paradise, at Europe's highest cable car station (3883 meters). One of the highlights is certainly the platform with a view over 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps.
Day 8: Montreux → Neuchâtel
Starting with a short walk along the shores of Lake Geneva we will make our way into the Jura mountains, one of the more remote areas in Switzerland.
The caves of Vallorbe are not that well known but an unparalleled natural sight in the heart of the Jura mountains. Walk through caves with subterranean rivers, waterfalls, vast halls with spectacular rock formations.
With a little detour, you will arrive at the baroque city of Neuchâtel.
Day 9: Neuchâtel → Interlaken
With small stops in the medieval towns of Murren and Gruyère we will head to the chocolate museum of Cailler. Enjoy an insightful (and delicious) tour of the Cailler chocolate factory.
Before we make our way to the famous Interlaken region, we will have a beautiful ride through the Simmertal and will pass Gstaad. This valley is well known for its cheese manufacturers and will have the opportunity to watch how cheese has been manufactured in the alpine regions for decades.
Day 10: Interlaken
Today is reserved for the beautiful Jungfrau region which boasts a plethora of activities and spectacular views of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.
To explore these mountains a little closer your guide will take you on a round trip from Männlichen to kleine Scheidegg.
Day 11: Interlaken → Lucerne
Before arriving in Lucerne we would like to show you something special: The GlasiHergiswil is the only remaining glasswork in Switzerland where glass is still blown and shaped by hand. Discover how glass is manufactured and watch the glassblowers work with your own eyes. You will have time to explore the city of Lucerne and enjoying a boat ride on the picturesque lake.
Early bird suggestion: Go on a little detour and explore the Aare gorge.
Day 10: Lucerne → Zurich
If your time of departure permits we will stop for a last surprise.
Your guide will bring you safely and on time to the airport and will leave you with many unforgettable memories from this alpine paradise.
