Day 1: Basel → Grindelwald
To get started there are some lovely places to discover in Basel itself. On your way to Interlaken, you should benefit from your travel pass and take a short stroll through the Old Town of our capital Bern. After about 3 hours of the train ride, you should still have enough time to take the cable car up to the Männlichen. Even though Grindelwald lies directly in the spectacular Eiger North Face - the best view is from the peak of Männlichen where you can marvel the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
Day 2: Grindelwald → Basel
Before heading back take your time to enjoy the alpine atmosphere in Grindelwald. We recommend another way back to Basel via Lucerne - hop off and take a short walk over the historical bridge and through the old town of Lucerne.
