Geneva to Three-Lakes-Region
This Geneva-Get-Away brings us into the Jura mountains and the beautiful canton of Neuchâtel. Scenic views on the Creux du Van, the magnificient Grotte de Vallorbe, as well as the beautiful belle-epoque city of Neuchâtel are waiting for you.
Day 1:
Meeting Point - 9 am Geneva Center
Heading off to Neuchâtel we will have a stop in Vallorbe - the spectacular caves here will take you on a magical journey between the underground river and the limestone sculptures. After roughly an hour under the surface, we will continue our journey directly to Neuchâtel.
Around lunchtime, we will arrive in Neuchâtel. Now it is up to you how you would like to enjoy your afternoon, whether you would like to stroll around in the old town or visit the castle of Neuchâtel on your own, enjoy yourself at the beach or (and that would be our suggestion) go on a fun scavenger hunt that will lead you through the belle-epoque times of Neuchâtel.

• a ride on the Buttes-La Robella chairlift
Would you prefer to go on a hike on this day? No problem. Your guide will point you to the beautiful gorge de l'Areuse - an easily accessible hike from Neuchâtel.
Day 2:
To escape the heat of the day we will directly start our hike after our breakfast. The Creux du Van is a natural phenomenon, is approximately 1,400 meters wide and 150 meters deep. The guided hike will probably take between 4 and 5 hours. Don't forget sunglasses, sunscreen and of course your camera!
For the rest of the day, we are going to take it easy. If we have some spare time, all of the lakes of the region are perfect to take a swim or have an ice cream. Before we finally head back to Geneva we will stop by in Avenches or how it was called back in the ancient times "Aventicum". An old roman amphitheater and museum will round up the day.
We will be back in Geneva around 6 pm.
