Trip Itinerary:
We kindly ask for your understanding that the final tour itinerary including our detailed recommendations can only be provided after your confirmation and down payment.
Day 1: Arrival in Zurich
We will organize a private transfer from Zurich Airport to your hotel. The Storchen Hotel is located in the heart of the old town - perfect for your day of arrival to still walk around, stretch out your legs after your flight and get an impression of Switzerland's biggest city.
Depending on your time of arrival and motivation you might be interested to take an excursion to the biggest waterfalls in Europe - the Rhine Falls. Easy accessible by train it is up to you.
Day 2: Zurich → St. Moritz
Before arriving in the Engadin valley you have to stop in Landquart: If you would like to do some shopping or equip yourselves for your next days in the mountains, you might want to check out the Landquart fashion outlet.
OR
As the next stop on your journey, you could also explore Chur. With a settlement history of over 5000 years, Chur is the oldest city in Switzerland and the picturesque old town is considered one of the most fully preserved in the country. Especially worth seeing are the episcopal palace, the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption, and the superbly preserved buildings in the old town.
Day 3: Engadin Valley
The Engadin Valley is a true nature and outdoor paradise. St. Moritz was not without reason the birthplace of winter tourism and hosted the Winter Olympics twice. Despite its cosmopolitan atmosphere, it is the culture and tradition of this luxurious Alpine resort that has made it what it is today.
Go on a train ride on the Bernina tracks to Alp Grüm or even to Tirano in Italy. Offering breathtaking views on the surrounding peaks and glaciers this UNESCO world heritage doesn't leave any wishes open.
For cheese lovers: Have a break at the alpine cheesery Morteratsch and follow every step of making this swiss delicacy with your own eyes
A romantic carriage ride in the afternoon will round everything up.
Day 4: St. Moritz → Zermatt
Today we will set a first exclamation mark to your travel memories: The famous Glacier Express train ride. Over its entire length, the Glacier Express leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels over the Swiss Alps.
Sit back and relax while the train winds its way through remote valleys, past sheer rock faces, idyllic mountain villages, over the Landwasser Viaduct, and through the Rhine Gorge, the Grand Canyon of Switzerland. A 4-course menu rounds everything up.

Day 5: Zermatt→ Grindelwald
To get the most out of your alpine experience we will add a helicopter ride to your travel itinerary. On this scenic flight, you will enjoy a unique view of the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Dent Blanche, Matterhorn, Theodulpass, Breithorn, Liskamm, Monte Rosa massif, Dufourspitze, Rimpfischhorn, Allalinhorn, Alphubel and Dom.
Today you will head from the canton of Valais to the Bernese Oberland. Your train journey continues through the 14km long railway Loetschberg tunnel towards Spiez, Interlaken and then Grindelwald.
After check-in you you can just simply enjoy the majestic view on the Eiger North Face or take the train into the neighbouring valley of Lauterbrunnen. In 1911, the 19-year-old J.R.R. Tolkien hikes through the Swiss Alps – and of course through the Lauterbrunnen Valley with its steep rockfaces and waterfalls. Hardly anyone knows that he found his inspiration for the landscape in «Lord of the Rings» here.
Optional: Trümmelbachfalls in Lauterbrunnen valley (as a bad weather alternative)
Day 6: Grindewald | Jungfraujoch
Icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand meter peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 meters above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.
Also, you might want to take a walk on the Männlichen, the small servant of the royal three mountains: Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The notorious Eiger North Face was long time considered to be the last alpine challenge. A walk on the Mänlichen will let you dive into the tragic and heroic stories of this wall.
Day 7: Grindelwald → Lucerne
Lucerne's Old Town is rated every year among the most beautiful towns in the world. Stroll around before you we will invite you on a boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. Winding its way through the mountain scenery it is a perfect way to get some last views of some famous mountains like the Stanserhorn, Mount Rigi and Pilatus.
Day 8: Lucerne → Zurich Airport (departure 7.10.2022)
The airport is very well connected from Lucerne which will allow you to maybe get some souvenirs or just enjoy a hot coffee on the shores of the Lake.
We are confident that this itinerary will provide some exclusive memories for you until it is time to say: "Ade, Au revoir, ciao and hope to CYou again in Switzerland"
