Gorner Gorge

The Gorner Gorge is a natural wonder located in Zermatt, Switzerland. It is formed by the Gornera River and is composed of 220 million year old serpentinite stone.

Visitors can walk on a well-maintained path through the gorge, seeing unique formations and waterfalls. The walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and longer hikes can be taken with a mountain guide.

To see the most beautiful sight, visit the gorge in the late afternoon sun in October, when the water turns turquoise. It is a must-see attraction for nature enthusiasts visiting Zermatt.
