Zermatt

Zermatt is a picturesque village located at the foot of the famous Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland. It is known for its car-free zone, preserved original character and endless possibilities for outdoor excursions.

In the winter, the ski region of Zermatt offers 360 km of pistes across three different ski areas, including the Matterhorn glacier paradise which is Europe's largest and highest-lying summer skiing region. During the summer and autumn, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as walking, cycling, climbing, and high-Alpine tours. The Matter Valley offers 400 km of hiking trails, including the mule traders' trails dating back to the 13th century.
