United Nations Geneva

The second-largest UN facility after the UN Headquarters in New York is the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), located in the famed Palais des Nations. The building, a magnificent example of 20th-century architecture, is located in Geneva, Switzerland's lovely Ariana park.

One of the biggest diplomatic conference venues in the world is the Palais des Nations. Each year, about 5,300 meetings are scheduled. The majority of conference rooms were built when the Palais des Nations was first built, in the 1930s.

The Hôtel National structure, now known as Palais Wilson, was where the League of Nations' Secretariat was first constructed. It was situated along the shores of Lake Geneva.
