Hinterrugg to Gamsalp

Here's our latest video summary of our hike in beautiful Toggenburg in the eastern part of Switzerland. It is a moderate hike with about 13km distance and (if you take the cable car and funicular) about 1400 m of altitude down into the valley. With the breathtaking view of the 7 Churfürsten and Walensee (Lake Walen) it is a spectacular hike suitable for everybody.

We started at the Gamplüt panorama center in Wildhaus. The trail follows the paved road for about 500 meters before it leads through alpine meadows up the mountain and ends after around 1 hour at the restaurant Gamplüt. Various signs along the way encourage to stop and enjoy the nature.
