Toggenburg valley

The Toggenburg valley is a true hidden gem - picturesque landscapes, the Alpstein moutains and the highest mountain of eastern Switzerland - the Säntis. The region is popular with hikers, cyclists (in summer), and skiers (in winter), home to several traditional villages and towns, such as Wildhaus and Lichtensteig, with well-preserved historical architecture.

The region is also known for its dairy farming, and visitors can try local cheeses and other dairy products.
