St. Beatus Caves
The St. Beatus Caves are a popular tourist destination located on the shores of Lake Thun near Interlaken, Switzerland. These caves are one of the best-known and most popular destinations for a day trip in Switzerland.
Visitors can explore around one kilometer of the caves that are part of the Niederhorn massif, following a well-designed and safely lit path. The caves have a unique subterranean environment and visitors can see stalactites and stalagmites that have been formed by nature over millions of years.
The Cave Museum is also open for visitors to learn more about the world of caves and caving.
