Foundation Castle Oberhofen

​

Oberhofen Castle is located idyllically on the shore of Lake Thun. One of the most magnificent castle gardens in the Alpine region is part of the romantic palace complex. Visit this castle park with the unique arcade, the exotic sequoia trees, the gardener's house and the orangery, which has been in use since 1862.

Since 1954 a museum has been set up inside of the castle, which deals with the history of the former residents.
