Paul Klee Center

The Zentrum Paul Klee stores and conserves more than 4,000 works of modern artist Paul Klee. A scientific competence centre, it is dedicated to researching the life and work of Paul Klee. Changing exhibitions present selections of its exceptional collection as well as works by other significant artists. In recognition of the multifaceted personality of the artist, the Zentrum Paul Klee is a multidisciplinary venue and cultivates a harmonious union of the different forms of artistic expression, hosting concerts, readings and a wide variety of other events. Special emphasis is given to promoting art education and learning, with the children’s museum Creaviva making a particular contribution.
